City life

Douala, Cameroon's economic capital, has about 120 districts in 6 counties. Each district is in itself a city within a city, and the transition from one neighborhood to another is clear. Note for example the presence of military or security officers in some, or the wooden houses and other tolle. Here are photos of neighborhoods (including "Makepe Missoke"). There are often permanent markets.

City traffic is complicated if you're not used! Often requires the faint of heart. We have taken the services of a driver for the duration of our stay, and happily! The city is teeming with taxis (yellow to change), but mostly two wheels! At each junction, impossible to count the number of bikes. 200? 300? 400? They come from all sides ...
Two-way channels are transformed most of the time in 2 * 2 channels. But let's not forget the best friend of the driver ... the horn!
Here are some pictures illustrating the... normal traffic!
